We've played so little and have 8 newcomers, but things look encouraging, especially given we've played w/o our starting pg and also are missing our 7'0 transfer, who won't start , but gives us great depth size wise once active. We surround Gaige Prim , who pretty much demands a double, with 3-4 shooters all between 6'4 -6'8 . But the biggest thing is we are playing hard and unselfish basketball. Don't expect to be great out of the chute in conference, but I wouldn't want to play us late January on.

Butler had a 59 game home winning streak against non-league opponents so Saluki fans have to be pleased to go on the road and erase that.

We appear to have a bench this year too which is nice. There were games last year when we'd be lucky to get 5 ppg there.

I am enjoying what I am seeing.

I agree. Excited for the future of this program!

I knew when I saw all the people picking the Salukies for a Thursday team, had their head in their azz. They will be in the fight for the Valley championship all the way. Too much talent, and a great coach.

Agreed. After seeing them dominate Butler for much of the game, I would be shocked if they didn't finish top 3 with Loyola and Drake. Man, if only their best big wasn't out for the season...

Bradley is a top 3 team. UNI will be up there too. Going to be an absolute battle between Loyola/Bradley/SIU/Drake/UNI and even ISUb/MoSt.

It appears that Terry Nolan is out tonight for Bradley against Mizzou. It's a medical thing, not an injury from playing, so hopefully he'll be back for Valley opener next week. It makes Bradley's job much harder tonight playing without arguably Bradley's best player not named Childs.

Childs is also 50/50 to play, as he bruised his hip late in the Miami game on Saturday night.

Bears are #1 in the country in eFG% and Prim, Mosley, and Black are all top 100 in the country in that stat. I know it's 2 games but Little Rock is actually a quality opponent and they're coming off a long shutdown.

Bradley is down 2 at the half at Mizzou. This game is setting basketball back about a half century. Terrible all around. Bradley got a boost from a couple of freshmen that have barely played at the end of the half.

If I wasn't a Braves fan, I wouldn't watch the second half.

No kidding. No need to replace the peach baskets at half.

Heartbreaking loss for Bradley. Had a 2 point lead and a 1 and 1 and missed and then Mizzou comes down to get an and 1 to win it. Thought that might have been backcourt.
