Has anybody heard if fans will be allowed at Arch Madness this year? Am I even allowed to ask that?

I'm still hopeful there will be limited attendance allowed.

Right now, i'd be afraid you'd get socially distanced into the upper deck.

The first week MVC TV game ran Arch Madness commercials + Explore St Louis, but without the team hotels one.

The second week then added the team hotels ad to the cycle. Loyola & Indy St switched hotels.

They’re advertising everything but tickets. Open upper deck like the old days would be great.

While I haven't been able to find any official guidelines on government websites, generally sporting events in Missouri are operating at 20% capacity. Basketball capacity is listed at 22,000, so 4400? (Which is sadly about half of what was present for last year's final but that's another conversation.)

What I have found interesting is a lot of events that have had fans haven't utilized the upper deck. Drake didn't open their upper seats up for the SIU games but was planning to for the Loyola games.

My guess is the MVC also wants to see what the NCAA does for the tournament.

In the first conference tournament announcement I've seen anyway, Summit League announces no fans. Also, it originally was slated for the Denny Sanford Premier Center, which seats about 12,000, and now will be held at the 3,250-seat Sanford Pentagon.

I have volunteered in the Bud Light Zone (now Jameson Club since the renovation) for the last 10 or so years. We got an email recently saying that there wouldn't be any volunteers this year because they wouldn't be opening the club. It didn't say anything about not allowing fans, but I think if they do allow fans it will be significantly reduced capacity and without much of the extras.

My guess would be that monitoring what the Blues do will be a good barometer for the Valley.

Missouri State currently will allow just about 3900-4000 in our 11,000 seat arena. We haven't even come close to that capacity, but we have a different set of guidelines in Springfield than they do in St. Louis. I would think that they could open the upper bowl up at Enterprise and be just fine. I don't think the demand for tickets will be even what it was last year. Not that many teams travel well anyway, and with the added risk that number will be less than a normal year.

If they are allowing fans to attend, then I will most likely be there.

I will definitely go. I'm holding out hope that people come to their senses and open up. For those that question it, has there been even one football or basketball player hospitalized or dead since they restarted sports? Think about how many games have already been played too.
