When I talked to them this morning, they were not sold out. But I wasn’t paying $400 for two tickets to watch Illinois State play 1 basketball game. I asked if they were selling single session tickets and he said “no”!
So thought I’d give this a shot.

Illinois State sent out this tweet today saying single game tickets will be available tomorrow...

We were told tickets will be sent electronically this weekend from Enterprise Center. I’ll check back in when we get the instructions and the lay of the land.

The single game tickets are Fri-Sun, so Thursday night would still be in question.

I messaged the MVC social media page, and got a response about re-selling tickets. Basically they said that all-session ticket purchasers will be able to make single game tickets available for sale on TM Plus, which is Ticketmaster's secondary market. I am not sure if they only mention this platform because it's the one they run, or if you will also see them on other secondary markets. Also, it sounds like if you can do this, you should also be able to transfer sessions to others via the Ticketmaster app, but I cannot confirm that part.

They also said they did not advertise single session tickets for Thursday because they are not opening the upper bowl for Thursday night. There should be a few lower bowl single session tickets available though.

Thanks for the info. Ticketmaster indeed has tickets for sale on Thursday.

Not that it’s a surprise, but TM fees driving up the costs by 50%.

2 UD went from $60 to $90:
2 x $30 ($60)
2 x $4 ($8) Facility Charge
2 x $8.45 ($16.90) Service Fee
$5.25 ($5.25) Order Processing Fee
= $90.15

Love my 'Birds and miss live sports immensely, but not sure I can justify spending $175 for my family of four for one Thursday night game. Hopefully some people with all session tickets will be selling them for cheaper than that.

Yeah, that's what I am hoping for at this point. Wait until all the seeds are determined, and hope to find some decently priced tickets for Thursday night. I was happy to hear that all session pass holders could sell individual sessions. Was not sure that would be the case this year.

Is the COVID protocol plan still to clear out the stadium after each game?

I notice the times are earlier and spaced about more.

5:05 instead of 6:05

The 2nd game is scheduled at 8:05 --last year 8:35

Friday is also starting at 11:00 instead of 12:00

Yep. Trick to staying warm is just exit through the parking garage entrance then reenter 30 mins later. Gate 1 iirc.
