Do you feel the same now that Kuhlman and Frederking are coming back to UE?

And I will add another thing. If this is going to be the result of Lickliter, 2 Simmons leftovers having 2 senior years, and starting both years, and more talented players playing fewer minutes and subsequently leaving, just as we had under Simmons, I will no longer support the Aces. If he can't bring in new talent on his own that is better than what we had, forget it. This stuff is too damn frustrating for me to waste my time. You have to get the talent, play the talent and keep the talent. Having
it sit on the bench and leave is not a winning formula.

I disagree with AcesAces... I say if Prim wants to come back, I will welcome him with both arms. Granted, he's our only senior that was on scholarship, so he's not taking up that many minutes in the scope of things. I just hope we can find a legit replacement for him. Since we would just be left with Nic Tata and Carper on the roster, I am sure we could make it work, but neither one fills Prim's shoes.

Spare me the naive and selfish crap.

To a lot of these kids, playing college ball is the highlight of their young lives. How soon we forget what it's like about being an adult and "moving on". I'll support any decision they and the University make because that's what it's about.

Not surprised a change isn't been made this season. I think COVID gave a pass to a lot of coaches around the country. The $$$ is too high. The team is young. Yada yada.

Muller has next year and IMO if he's not at least top 3 in the MVC, a change needs to be made.

If the top Drake, Loyola, Missouri State, and Northern Iowa Seniors return, Illinois State better have Horne, Reeves, Strong, Washington, Fleming & Mahorcic wearing a Redbird uniform, and at least one very good C/PF added to the roster to even finish Top 5. Illinois State & Southern Illinois might be fighting for the 5th spot.
In a normal year, where all the Seniors graduate, I would think Illinois State might be top 3, but if a majority of those seniors return, we are probably looking at a repeat of 2020-21 (of course transfers may change where teams finish in the standings). So my expectations for Coach Muller & the Redbirds is to play top quality basketball & show a lot of development in all areas of their game. If that doesn’t happen than I agree a change should be made.

Of course it is the highlight. It is also the highlight for the younger players who will lose a year because some guy wanted to play another year. Move on with your lives.

I so hope you're right about this. That was the year I fully fell in love with the MVC. I'd love to experience a year like that as a fan of an MVC member. I bet it was absolutely incredible!
