It's totally possible to put together a good schedule. You just have to do your homework and not be afraid to play good teams on the road. Drake is going to get left out and has no one to blame but themselves.

You didn't get your wish. Maybe we can put you in charge of lining up teams for Drake to play next year. UNI may find scheduling a little more difficult in the future too.

You're right because that recent success has faded or is fading fast. UNI needs a big year really soon if they want to make that happen consistently into the future. I hope most of the top MVC contributors come back so that we can have a loaded year next year but right now I'm just so so happy that we've done it and have achieved multibid status despite the realignment losses this league has endured! I love this league so much and I am so happy to see it back at multibid status! Let's keep it there in the future but first let's rock this tournament! :bounce:   :buddies: :Yea!: :D 8-)

I'm happy for Drake. Really glad they got in. Feels AMAZING to have Louisville sitting on the outside looking in and every day that Wichita loses is a good day. Go get em!

I know last year feels like it didn't happen but UNI won 25 games, an outright league title and had a top 50 NET. Our opportunities aren't drying up.

That's fair. I really think UNI is going to be outstanding next season if they come back and stay healthy. I think being forced to learn how to play without Green is only going to help them next year. I expect much better overall play from them and more balance and less standing around\stagnation on offense. Green should know that he has support and be able to trust his teammates next year. They lost the Player of the Year last year and STILL finished in a tie for fifth. That says a lot about the depth talent and coaching of that team so I expect a lot out of them next year and I hope they can deliver.
