Going to be tough against what is reportedly the tallest team in the country. Seems like USC should be better than a six seed. We give up about 4 inches per player and have a height advantage nowhere. Will need a lot of defensive pressure.

Looks like the Bulldogs have bitten off more than they can chew in this one. USC is really tough, and Drake needs more than Yesufu..

Congrats to Drake on a great season. The key injuries killed them. The fact that they were able to keep plugging along like they did just shows how good they were. Besides that, beating Wichita was all that mattered anyways. :Cheers:

Bad match ups! A healthy Penn and Hemphill would have helped but probably not enough.

Sometimes it is luck of the draw and a different 6 seed might have opened some doors.

Bad matchup is correct. I thought USC looked very beatable by any team with some size. Drake can play against teams with a good post but there just were too many giants to defend against.

Good game today. Very respectable showing.

Just too many trees. I saw somewhere that hen Hemphill was in, the scoring was equal.

Reminded me of 4th grade where you have one team with a couple much taller players and they just scoop up offensive rebounds until it goes in.
