Jared Ridder leaving MSU. Hasn't really said what he intends to do. Graduates this spring. By some accounts could have 2-3 years eligibility, what with injury redshirt year and covid year taking into account. Was productive pff the bench this year, but streaky and never lived up to expectations coming out of HS. Seemed like a decent young man, wish him well, but Bears can fill that spot/role with someone more impactful I think.

Salukis losing Eric Butler. This is really not a surprise given that he only played 36 minutes this past season.

Are you saying all 3 are going to Cal State Fullerton or just Ndaiye?

Have to laugh a bit; last year we were told by a few posters of the couple top Valley teams how if you had the right culture and won, you didn't have players leaving for the transfer portal. While a few of us said those things certainly help, but it was a lot more complex than that when you completely open the process up as a free market. Whala 2021 ; the only team not impacted so far is Loyola , who yes have great culture and are winning, but when you look both conference wise and nation wide, lots of solid programs being impacted for lots of different reasons. Any team with a young player who either thinks he's better than his current level or should be getting more playing time or utilized better can be impacted. Any team with a senior who wants that one chance at a for sure NCAA Tourney ride can be impacted. Any team bringing in multiple veteran transfers can have their culture impacted quickly. It's just the nature of today's college basketball and it will continue to evolve that way with such an open market.

Loyola will have transfers coming soon now that their season is over. God forbid if the seniors decided to come back, we could see a mass exodus of younger players who want the chance to play.

Just Abdou. Apologies for the confusion. The other two entered the portal.
