Couldn't agree more, I'm glad you brought that up, big props to Marshall for that gesture. It seemed as though Marshall was genuinely moved by the moment, as I know I was. I can only speak for myself, but I thought this kid singing the anthem was a beautiful thing, he has such enthusiasm and zeal for life. I would rather listen to that rendition a 100 times more than listen to one more person sounding like they're auditioning for american idol instead of singing our national anthem.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that. That was a really classy move by Coach Marshall.

huh, CU fans swear Marshall is the most classless coach in the valley by far and no of the other coaches cant stand him even in his own staff.

I think I heard a comment to that effect on the broadcast of the game.

Dear Evansville fans,

On behalf of Shocker Nation, I apologize for the above comment. Really unnecessary, dude.

Give WSU and their depth a lot of credit as they were in foul trouble and had some guys have good games off the bench. That along with the rebounding advantage as UE was forced to help and the bigger guards crashing the boards allowed WSU to get the win.

UE took care of the basketball and did everything they had to do to give themselves a chance. A couple shots went in and out in the last couple minutes and WSU executed well enough to earn the victory.

As far as the fan support, the fans who were at the game last night were vocal and into the game. UE has struggled and not been the team that many of the older generation of fans always remembered, however those that do have that passion for UE basketball aren't any different than any other fans anywhere else. We as UE fans would love to sell the place out and have a raucous student section, but as of now that isn't the case. Hopefully over time that will change but it remains to be seen.

Give Coach Marshall a lot of credit for what he did pregame. It would have been easy for him to stand on the sideline and applaud but he took the time to not only give the kid a hug but also share a few words with him. The kid has overcome a lot in his young life and for someone of his stature to come over when he didn't have to and when his mind is on preparing his team to take the floor says a lot about the man.

Like RDR said, your post served no useful purpose and only degraded the other school for no apparent reason.
