7 of those schools would be laughing too hard to talk when they found out who was calling.
I'm all for talking about scenarios where we can, and should, expand but we've got to stay out of fantasy land.
The list of candidates looks like this (not necessarily in order):
UT-Arlington
Oral Roberts
Murray State
Belmont
South Dakota State
North Dakota State
Milwaukee
Omaha
UIC
Grand Canyon (MAYBE)
St Thomas (after DI transition)

I don't really mind splitting up tourney revenue into 2 more slices. If either one of them made the tournament and won a game they would pay for themselves. They're also good respected programs and one of the two has a larger fan base.
If splitting revenue was such a big issue we should have stuck with 9 after Creighton left and then stuck with 8 after Wichita left.
I'm not a fan of going to 14 or anything ridiculous like that, but I think 12 in today's climate is a really good number. With how fluid things are getting, going to 11 for a few years would also be an okay move. We shouldn't add just to add, but if we can get traditionally good regional programs into the MVC then we should do it. Murray and Belmont are the only two that currently fit that bill.

Those two adds will do nothing. It has to be massive. Were past the time where 2 adds is good. Times have changed in the past month
