Anyway, losing DJ is devastating to ISU. I don’t believe it’s been posted here but Antonio Reeves declared for the draft without hiring an agent. Originally said his plan is to return to ISU. We’ll see what happens. A LOT of shots just opened up.
Reeves is returning to ISU. I had been hearing this for a while but am curious about what took him so long. When kids "test the waters" and return to school one of two things can happen. 1.) They take what they learned from their evalutation and use it to make themselves and the team better. 2.) They take what they learned and use it to make themselves better/get more film/highlights. Either way, I hope for a big year from Reeves. He was a highly touted recruit out of HS who was rumored to be getting an offer from Wisconsin if they hadn't filled their last scholarship. I'm excited for him to get with the new team on campus. They've already been there a few weeks, so he'll have some team chemistry to catch up on.
