UT Arlington has started the process of finding a new conference home.

Wichita State is screwed if the AAC gets poached of Cincy, UCF, and Houston.

Assuming the AAC holds onto Memphis (basketball power) and Tulsa (solid regional rivalry), I'm guessing the Shox would stay put, especially if the AAC added a few viable teams. If that doesn't prove to be the case, things could get interesting. :D

There aren't really any schools out there that fit the AAC profile and it's glorious.

Dayton, St Louis, VCU and Richmond are going to wait around forever for a Big East invite.

Duquesne isn't going to leave to become a budget and geographical outlier.

Memphis is going to jump at the first offer they can find. Watch for Gonzaga to try to form some kind of basketball-centric conference as BYU leaving is a huge blow to the WCC.

The AAC is probably looking at Charlotte, Western Kentucky and North Texas and, hoo boy, is that a giant step down from where they're at.

I still don't get UT-Arlington to the MVC. Makes very little sense.

Nothing may become of this but it looks like Missouri State may positioning themselves for a future move to FBS football.

Their fans seem pretty positive about a future Big East invitation when the Big East "expands to 16" from 11. I disagree but we'll see. I would think it would be Gonzaga, VCU, Dayton, St. Louis, and a second west coast team to keep Gonzaga's cost down and so East coast teams dont have to go across country for 1 game. Make it Friday and Sunday thing-maybe St. Mary's

Yes, I'd like to see the Shocks back in the Valley. I'm not sure if it is the best move for them...but, it would be a great "re-addition" to the conference.
