Great and, I mean, GREAT add!

They check every box!

Now go get Murray, Arlington and Little Rock and pass the A10, AAC and Mountain West as the best non-P6.

I heard this yesterday still think it will be more than 1 and hearing Murray State at this time is not in play, of course this could change.

If this is true, you know a "twelfth" was also invited.
So, once again, if true, looks like we're getting Belmont and Murray.

Really? you heard Murray State isn't in play? Who would the twelfth be then? And why did you have to post seconds before me? lol

Excited about Belmont. Nice add, and makes a lot of sense.

Who comes with them will be mighty interesting. Murray seems to make too much sense for it not to come to pass, but maybe there are some hangups there with certain schools or the new commish.

I'd need to hear a really inspired pitch on why a school like UT-Arlington would make any sense. Just because they're in a big city doesn't mean a school with little-to-no tradition is going to be the next Loyola, or that it's worth the time/expense of Valpo volleyball traveling to Texas for conference games.

Count me in the camp that considers market size less important than a strong fan base and commitment to competing at a high level in hoops.

Multiple bids or die trying. :D

Don't need another. Belmont makes the conference stronger and there are no negatives with this add. Love basketball only schools.

While I agree with this sentiment, that's just not how the MVC has operated in the past. I would be shocked if the MVC stopped at 11.

That's the beauty of Little Rock and Arlington. Basketball only schools in large markets. It's kind of the best of both worlds. Plus they're close enough to each other that it works for WBB and VB.

Murray gets the MVFC to 12 and stabilizes that until NDSU throws their next little bitch fit when they need attention.

Those 14, play a 20 game league schedule and we'd legitimately be the best non-P6 league and would be looking at 3-4 bids every year.

Just came from Racer Nation and there are many users watching but nobody commenting. I can't see how they couldn't be a part of this move!
