He brought in a boatload of transfers last year and sucked. How long we giving him to finish in the top half of that basketball blue blood conference?
He's been there a year. Hired during COVID. It takes time to build a program and I think he'll do it. As you know from being a Birds fan...it's tough to build anything sustainable with a boat load of transfers. Especially in year 1 when you couldn't have a real offseason. It looks like he brings back most of his team from a year ago, so some continuity will be there with year 2 in his system. They're an older team, too with 5 underclassmen. 5 grads, 4 seniors, and a pair of juniors.
So, I'd like to give him more than a year at his first HC job to determine his viability as a HC.
