What am I missing with Bradley? Can somebody help me? I look at them and I see a ton of lost production and yet they're still alive in this fan poll. Meanwhile Valpo added a lot of talent this year both in the portal and on the recruiting trail and they were picked 8th and a bunch of people are voting for Evansville to be slotted here even though they're returning most of their production and are just as well coached as Bradley if not moreso. I get that it's a deep league this year with a lot of talented teams and somebody has to finish in these spots but what am I missing here? I'm eager to learn where I might be sleeping on them like I did when I was told I was underrating SIU. So please Braves fans help me out.

Bradley could have one of the better frontcourts in the league with the touted JUCO, Mast and Boya, plus Henry as a gritty senior wing. The guards are more of a question but Bradley has some upside.
As for Evansville, yeah, they return a bunch of guys, but they’re not the most athletic or physical bunch. Defense and rebounding are question marks. Not much proven depth, either. I have them 9th.

I had Valpo 6th and Bradley 7th. Both unknown teams with huge turnaround that are tough to gauge. They're pretty interchangeable to me, could see Bradley finishing 6th or as low as 8th. Same with Valpo.

I think everyone is underrating Evansville; they lost Curtis, but they were impressive last year.

Valpo is the biggest unknown this year after replacing most of their roster. While their incoming B10 guys could vault them into the top 5, I think you're relying on talent and a completely new roster where everyone has to gel, find their roles, etc. It's just a lot to ask and a ton of unknowns.

Bradley and the ISUs to me are more known and are destined for the bottom three this year, IMO.

Evansville was 7-11 last year and was the biggest beneficiary of the back to backs because of their style.

I think Bradley and Valpo fall into the 'too unknown' category. Tons of roster turnover in a year where rosters didn't turn over. Not saying they both can't be very good, they certainly can, but they're going to start way behind the teams at the top that are bringing everybody back.

Agreed that this is between Bradley and Evansville. Bradley's big question mark is the guard play. Really hurt them last year and I am not sure I see enough improvement in that category to get them out of Thursday. But it wouldn't surprise me if their frontcourt carried them to 6th (or even 5th if there are any key injuries to SIU).

Bradley will have one of the best frontcourts. The backcourt is new and will determine whether they avoid Thursday. Ville needs to re-discover his shot and Kent needs to develop. I'm excited about Terry Roberts. The rest are question marks.

I just read yesterday that Bradley's got a former JUCO POY coming in and he's 6'11' I think - between that guy and Boya they will have a pretty solid front line.
