Tough way for a game to end.

Apparently rumor and innuendo.

Needs to be pointed out that Marshall kept his composure. He never lost his cool even after the foul was called with less than a second. Most coaches would have blown a gasket. Great coaching to get off a real good shot with only .8 on the clock. Tough loss but good coaching.

The MVC really doesn't have a NCAA Tournament worthy team this year.

I just spent 25 days in Northern Virginia on travel. I read a lot of articles about the CAA and VCU. The Shockers loss to VCU only means they lost the game and diminishes an at large berth. Does not mean they are not "tournament worthy." About 90 teams are tournament worthy each year and WSU is among them this year. The challenge is there are only 68 slots.
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.

This game illuminates the lack of discipline, maturity and talent on this team. You can't be a Tournament-worthy team when you are so severely handicapped in those areas.
Random MVCFans.com member, circa 2007: "Gregg Marshall is in over his head in this conference."

Not a good start. First the Mountain West sunk our boat. Now the rest of the BB are pulling the plug on our life vests. Maybe we should let BU and ISU-R battle it out on Sunday and put us out of our misery.

If you can't beat the third-place CAA team at home, you're not tournament-worthy. At least not of your own merits.
