The Aces only allowed 40 points tonight. They have allowed only 105 points so far against a very good team, and one not so good. They may go as far as their defense will take them this year. They will struggle scoring points against tough, physical teams.

We're a mess. There's no spark, there's no energy.

This team doesn't appear to like each other and Jake looks completely disinterested.

We're in serious trouble. Not for a season but as a program. It's like a delayed Chris Lowry effect.

Teams with good players usually figure it out. There is too much talent on UNI for them to just fade away into Thursday this year. Didn't they start slow last year too and then the AJ Green injury happened? I am sure Jacobson will have this team clicking by January.

Just in time to start beating Valley teams. Great.

Guys, it is that bad.

We spent all night last night giving up layups and uncontested 3s. I mean, Vermont is good but that's not a team that should be dominating us on our floor.

AJ looked MUCH better and is the only thing that kept the game within shouting distance. He was pretty close to vintage AJ other than missing some free throws. Getting Born back on Sunday will help, obviously, because he's our second best offensive player and it should greatly eat in to Kimmons minutes (he plays every second at a thousand miles an hour and tries to do way to much at this point)

The rest of this month tells us what this team is. We've got Arkansas and St Bonaventure over the next two weeks. If we sack up and decide we're going to defend and play hard the season is salvageable but if we roll over and accept getting our ass kicked, it's going to be a long year that finishes 5th or 6th in the league.

It's bad.

I had mercifully avoided it until recent years.
