Municipal Arena is historic, and a very cool old building. But it's not close to their campus. Do they get any students to attend?

The Waterloo Cattle Congress Pavilion is also historic, but there's a reason UNI doesn't play there.

I will agree the program does suffer in the Kansas City Market currently, but some of that had to do with the WAC conference and who came into KC to play. They returned to the Summit last year and seem to be making other moves under the radar to improve the program.

Also the fact KU is so close doesn't help. The get all the media time.

I think this move to the Valley and other changes going on like the rebranding to Kansas City might cause interest to rise. When WSU was in the Valley they got coverage on the local news. I think the Valley name will up the Kansas City brand.

It is wild card addition that might turn out ok. The Kaufman family foundation and other donors have really been trying to improve the campus and the school's rep.

Matt Brown says 13 is the plan right now. I'm guessing it's a hedge against Missouri State finding an FBS invite that isn't CUSA and then you settle at 12.

Doesn't really matter to this board but UNI football is now fuuuuuuuuuuuucked.

What happened to UNI football?

With Murray we're headed for divisions which means all Dakotas, all the time. You eastern schools should be ecstatic. MUCH easier path to the playoffs.

I could have sworn they have played some of the bigger match-ups there the last few years.

I know its been a few years but I saw WSU, UNI and I think Drake all play games down here in the building.

Time is flying I am getting old so the memory is suspect.

We become the old Summit or the OVC with weak additions like UTA and Kansas City. Id rather keep 10 with Belmont and tell the rest to go f off. I dont see Missouri st going anywhere...they havent achieved enough to be sought after elsewhere

Had not thought of that aspect of it. Does Kansas City have football? I'm pretty sure that UT Arlington doesn't.

MVFC needs to go Legends and Leaders like the B1G did at first to balance things out... But they won't because of travel budgets.

If you're tapping into a major city, just add Illinois-Chicago and maybe get lucky again with the Chicago market. That seems like a better addition than UMKC to me.
