They are 6-1 ATS at home and 12-6 ATS as a dog, which tells you they are a bad team having been a dog 18 times already this year. Have to respect those ATS numbers for Martin.

SOUTHERN ILLINOIS (-2) vs. Wisconsin Green Bay

The Salukis are not good in this spot. Only 3-9-1 ATS at home this year, and only 2-7-1 as favorites. They are also 0-4 ATS in their last 4. The Phoenix are 7-6 ATS on the road and 8-7 ATS as a dog. The only thing keeping them from being a play is that they are not playing well now going 0-4 SU in their last 4. Have to pass.

VALPARAISO (-1.5) vs. Missouri State

The Bears are 6-5 ATS on the road, most of the wins coming much earlier in the season, and they are 3-1 ATS as a dog, again most coming before conference season started. The last 9 games the Bears are 1-8 ATS. That has to make us play Valpo. They are 6-6 ATS as a favorite, and they are a respectable 6-4-1 ATS at home.

George Mason (-4) @ NORTHERN IOWA

Northern Iowa is 5-5 ATS at home, 5-3 ATS as a dog. George Mason is on one of the most incredible money runs ever and you have to stay with it until it bucks you. They have won 12 straight games, the longest winning streak in the country I believe, but they are 13-0 ATS in their last 13 games! Incredible. They are also 16-3 ATS as favorites this year. Play the Patriots. PREDICTION: George Mason 70-62.


AKRON (-2) vs. Creighton

The Zips are only 4-5 ATS at home and 7-7-1 ATS as favorites, but they have gone 4-0 ATS in their last 4. Creighton was an automatic road play until the last couple of games. They are 0-2 ATS in their last 2 road games, but remain 8-3 ATS in all road games. they are also 7-4 ATS as a dog. These spots are when Creighton is at their best. PREDICTION: Creighton 72-67.


MURRAY STATE (-6.5) vs. Evansville

Murray is a tough read. They had won 8 straight before losing their last game, but they are 0-3 ATS in their last 3. They have been winning as favorites but not covering only going 6-9-1 ATS in that role. They are also only 2-6 ATS at home this year. Doug Elgin has done an admirable job. However, most of the conference schools have tuned him out, and the Valley is back where we started. It's been great, but it's time to start with a new voice and a conference leader that is willing to put the spurs to schools that aren't willing to schedule up and to make themselves better. This is just part of the closing arguments.
