Wow, this place is dead. The MVC evil plan of the idiotic 12/1 conference kickoff sure got everyone fired up.

Get used to it.

Everybody is going to be playing 3 or 4 in early December going forward.

Not much to celebrate last night as 2 of the "top 4" teams lost tough road games last night. Loyola struggled some for a home game. SIU got a real nice road win last night as those are always hard to come by in the Valley.

It just shows you that if you don't bring it every night, you are in for a dog fight in the MVC.

Givance brought the Aces back from a 17 point deficit, scored 31 points and, almost beat the Salukies by himself. SIU better hope that nothing happens to Domask or they will be fighting the Aces for last place, which they might be anyway. They could probably say the same thing about Givance who is a first team All Conference player.

He is elite offensively and can single-handedly win you games, but I will be curious how his post-college career unfolds. His upside seems limited if he can't guard guys like Terry Roberts or Luqman Lundy, let alone NBA level talent.

You watch your mouth. Luqman Lundy should have been a first team All American.

Luqman was criminally underutilized at BU. It took Wardle way too long to realize what he had. Such an energetic and enthusiastic on-ball defender with the speed to take it downhill. Bradley doesn't come back to beat UNI at Arch Madness without him. His legendary status is well-deserved.

Drake almost blew it again at the end. Drake just cannot close out games right now. We're the second oldest team in D1 and we can only go 36 minutes.

Well duh….SIU started 7-0 last year, including beating Butler at Butler, then Domask gets hurt. I would point out that SIU played without their leading scorer (Jones) and best defender (Brown) who were both out with injuries, not to mention Ben Harvey being out.

You could make a pretty good All Conference team from the predicted Thursday night teams. Reeves, Givance, Neece, Krikke, Chatman...just off the top of my head.
