It’s up to $735.9 million now. Updated 11/15/21:
https://advance.uic.edu/giving/

$709.4 million for FY21 (scroll to bottom):
https://uif.uillinois.edu/news/2021/uni ... ent-report

So UIC has more than doubled endowment the past few years.

Thanks. I just searched "UIC endowment" with the quotes and that number popped up.

Mikovio wrote:UIC jumped to #2 priority for me behind Murray with the Loyola news. Let's give them a leg up like we did Loyola and get back in Chicago. The $2B endowment number is obviously misleading as it's a pool with UIUC who controls the purse strings which is less than ideal but it's a strong, growing institution which is taking steps to become more competitive. Let's help them compete with Loyola.

Finally someone gets it! :bounce:

There's not a ton of mystery over the next 3. It's Arlington, UIC and Murray. We'll see who ends up #14.

UIC is playing Oakland now on ESPN+. Their arena is great, but there are only (generously) a couple hundred fans their for the conference opener. They are also terrible. They have scored 15 points in the first 15 minutes of play.

FWIW, Belmont is playing Lipscomb right now and arena is packed and loud. Will be a great add.

“Battle of the Boulevard” is usually well attended.

UIC makes sense because it's pretty important to stay in the Chicago market. Lot of ISUr, UNI, SIU, Bradley, Valpo alums in Chicago. Gives a chance to go see their team without driving an hour to Valpo.

Lots of Drake alums in the Chicago area, not so sure about UNI
