If we're being honest the fact AJ Green was there punching his ticket on every drive didn't hurt lol.

It was time to fire Muller two seasons ago.

Good day for Jackson State sports. Beating ISU and currently winning the SWAC championship in football.

Very interesting developments in Springfield today. Bears played their best game to date and played with great energy; what was most interesting though is CDF pretty much benched Mosley [ 7 total minutes/0 points] used his two young guards Patterson and Haney extensively along with significant use of his bench , and the Bears looked like they might have found some semblance of an identity . Sharp still out at pg, but Patterson had his 2nd quality game and Haney got his most play to date. Both played with great effort and energy. Gonna be fun watching how this plays out.

Salukis defeat Southern Miss 66-41. Nice team effort. 5-3 On the season, and making positive strides, and improving each game.

It just shows you that if you don't bring it every night, you are in for a dog fight in the MVC.

Givance brought the Aces back from a 17 point deficit, scored 31 points and, almost beat the Salukies by himself. SIU better hope that nothing happens to Domask or they will be fighting the Aces for last place, which they might be anyway. They could probably say the same thing about Givance who is a first team All Conference player.

I don't know which is worse. The fact that you think Givance is a first team all conference player, or that you think that Evansville is remotely close to SIU and both being close to the bottom. SIU is down most likely 2 starters with Brown and Jones, the latter being our leading scorer this year. Givance had a career night (which might've been limited better by SIU had Jones played and guarded him), Evansville played as well as they could (which still isn't that good), and was at home...And yet they still lost to SIU.

Ugly game for SIU, but happy for the road win, considering the circumstances.

Was their best game of the season, even better than the Colorado game. Domask & Jones have battling injuries and weren't 100%. Both chipped in but SIU got good performances from Anthony D'Avanzo and Ben Coupet. And Troy D'Amico has been an impressive Freshman even though the stats won't say that.

Pretty darn good day for the league. Well done.

I feel good about seeing the 'good UNI' today to get another good win. Drake should roll. Like always, I have no idea what Valpo does.

Does this UNI team have a very 2015-2016 feel? Maybe it's just me, but they seem similar.

That team beat #1 UNC and #5 Iowa State, but then lost blowouts to Hawaii, Richmond, and New Mexico. Lost 5 in a row during conference play, but beat Wichita State twice and a 27 win Evansville team 3 times. Then came the collapse against Texas A&M instead of advancing to the Sweet 16.
