I'm about done with the MVC. I hope Indiana State moves to the Horizon League if this is true. Being involved more in the Indianapolis market would do more for us than KC and Dallas combined. I don't see why ISU should be subsidizing private schools and their lousy enrollments. I'd like to congratulate the private schools for dragging the MVC down even more. Four of the 5 schools (I'm including Belmont) have no fan support, and three of them completely suck in basketball. No wonder Wichita, Creighton, and Loyola couldn't wait to leave. Loyola probably wasn't impressed by Arlington or UMKC either, which is why they contacted the A10. Why Missouri State didn't beg the CUSA for an invite is beyond me. They'll live to regret that one I'm sure.
The Valley could've saved itself in the basketball world by just going to 11 with Murray State, but instead the idiot presidents and the idiots in St Louis can't help but drink the kool aid when it comes to markets. It's an athletics league not an academic league. If your enrollment sucks then maybe your school sucks or costs too much. There's a thought.
