Early in the year, I commented that I thought they were a bit undisciplined and/or poorly coached, only to be routinely ridiculed for that comment. I still stick by it though and believe that WSU does more to hurt itself than the teams that have beaten them do. They foul a lot on defense and make a lot of decisions that leave you scratching your head. They seem to struggle against Very disciplined teams.
In a lot of ways, this year's Shocker team reminds me of the Creighton team in 2009 - very talented, but not mentally strong. Could this similarity be due to a high number of JUCOs on each squad?
I believe marshal sold wsu soul for for juco talent trying to get quick success and a bcs job. I'm afraid the abyss may not be to far away.
Personally I think Jank did that as well when he had Osiris and Dinma and you can see where we are sitting at now.
