At least for D1 games we have come close twice in the past 5 seasons not including this one. Once .500 and once 1 game over .500.

I looked it up now. the MVC has had an OOC record under .500 plenty of times. 17 times to be exact (6 post WWII) with the last coming in the 2002-2003 season with a .493 average.

UNI played great today. Starting to look like the team everybody thought we'd see.

15 point win at Marshall and the game wasn't real competitive in the last 10 minutes.

AJ Green had 29. Cole Henry with 12, 7 and 4.

Off to Diamond Head. First one with Liberty on Wednesday afternoon.

If MSU wins tonight the Valley will be at .500 for the first time this season. We had been hovering 8 games below .500 for several weeks. Hasn't helped conference NET which remains #13.

Coming into the year, I legitimately thought Drake, Loyola, and UNI would be the clear frontrunners and would all win somewhere around 14-15 league games. Nobody has been stellar during non-conference, but Loyola has been good.
It is starting to look like those 3 might be playing well enough now that they can win those 14-15 games each. Such a shame the league as a whole dropped the ball until this point in the season...

Drake's opponent for tomorrow, Chicago State, is out due to COVID protocols.

UT-Martin, who was supposed to play Evansville today will take their place.

Martin, whose head coach passed unexpectedly last season, had 13 players transfer out prior to this season. That isn’t a typo. They turned over their entire roster. Drake should win the game but Martin did beat North Dakota.

Terrific Saturday for The Valley...not necessarily because who they beat, rather the fashion in which they won.

Bears beat Central Arkansas last nite 106-70. Terrible opponent but what is perhaps noteworthy, Bears for 2nd time in 4 games hit 16 for 32 from trey line. Are shooting almost 39% as team from trey. It's a bit of pick your poison, as Prim and Mosley invite help, leaves Minnett and Black spotting up . Mosley still went for 28 [ 6 treys] Doing this w/o two starters from last year in pg Sharp and versatile Hervey who led team in 3pt % last year. Hervey [ flu] should be back for St Mary's game. We'll see where Bear's are when they play at St Mary's .
The Bear is the largest carnivore on the North American continent; beware the Bear!

How do you find conference NET rankings? I've never found that online during midseason.
