Wisconsin had some COVID issues lead to cancellations last week. Haven't confirmed the game is going to happen but also haven't seen where it isn't. Hopefully the Birds get a game in this week. It looks like Kansas is looking for a game Wednesday night if Wisconsin is a no-go.

UNI-Wartburg is off for Wednesday night.

Wartburg has COVID issues. UNI tests tomorrow and I'll be shocked if there isn't an outbreak after spending large chunks of last week in airports/planes.

Either we stop testing asymptomatic/vaccinated players or we don't have a season. I'm sure the NCAA will lead the way...

I was under the impression that fully vaccinated players weren't being tested unless they showed symptoms.

Nope, everybody is tested once per week regardless of vaccination status or symptoms which is utterly ridiculous.

I agree with you, that frequency is odd to say the least... Is the MVC requiring testing once a week? I still find it crazy that the NCAA is allowing conferences and schools to make a lot of their own regulations instead of the entire sport being governed as a whole. I guess the NCAA doesn't do anything until there is money to be collected.....

Mullins said SIU was only being tested if someone was showing symptoms since they were 100% vaccinated

Redbirds game at Wisconsin tomorrow night will be on BTN as opposed to BTN+.

Haven’t watched anyone other than Illinois State, so not going to make any projections. But have seen all the Redbird games, so I am wondering who here is hoping they get the Redbirds for their first round game in St Louis. I’m guessing you would have to go back a ways to see the last time a team scored 85 points against the Badgers in Wisconsin (or anywhere).
