Murray's primary colors are blue and gold while Missouri State's primary colors are maroon and white. So Murray State will be MSUg while Missouri State will MSUm. How 'bout that or will it just be "Murray" when differentiating between the two?

Also, BUn and BUp.

I don't know what the "n" and "p" stands for. I thought it would be BUr (Bradley) and BUb (Belmont)

I'll likely go "Murray" and "Mo State/MOST."

As a Redbird fan, it'll be "Belmont/BU" an Bradley will be "Badley/PU."

For whatever reason I also prefer INST and ILST vs ISUb/ISUr.

None of this is relevant. LOL. Congrats and welcome to the league, Murray! The MVC got better today!

I've always gone with InSU and IlSU. . .for one, I think faster and easier to type, and for the un-initiated, much easier to know who you're talking about.

For differentiating between Belmont and Bradley, I've always thought the BRA abbreviation for Bradley was hilarious.

The MVC-FAQ document on Murray’s website confirms the MVC is in discussions with Bally Sports South & Southeast, which currently air the Braves, Predators, Hawks, Hornets, Grizzlies, & Hurricanes.

The two RSNs cover Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, & South Carolina.

That's a MASSIVE deal for our network. That's another 52 Million Homes.

Our TV package is much better than the A10s CBS Sports Net, USA, Friday Night ESPNU hodgepodge.

Here is what’s interesting about that- currently there are three MM basketball conferences. The WCC is the west coast, the A10 is the east coast, and the Valley is set to be “everywhere in between”. That’s huge. That’s how you boost name recognition.
