Well, now they can play without urgency because there really isn't that much any more. We're playing for a conference championship for a third-rate conference.

In addition, I have not seen one tweet from one MSU player since the game. I'm sorry, Bears fans, but this is not coincidental. There's something going on.

Just wanted to apologize to all Valley fans on the Bears performance. Nothing like playing a game on national TV and not even acting like you care if you win. I am not sure what to think because we didn't run our normal offense at all and seemed very disinterested in playing the game in the first place...shocking really but not much a fan can do about it at this point.

I watched this game in dis-belief. As another poster said, I was worried about the GMU - UNI game being a blowout (for different reasons than MSU put together).

MSU's performance was absolutely pathetic. Its one thing to play smart & hard and just be overmatched, but that is not what I saw in this game. MSU looked shell shocked, like they expected a cakewalk of some sort. Baffling.

Playing a steady diet of MVC teams for the last 8 weeks or so did nothing to prepare the MVC's top teams for playing anyone out of the Valley.

I'm starting to think that UE is actually as bad as I thought at the beginning of the season, and they're an upper-tier team because the teams below them are so much worse than I thought at the beginning of the season.

It's not hard to see why we Aces fans think we get no respect at all. We get out of the Thursday game, but we're just as bad as you thought we'd be. Aargh!!!!!

It is difficult to have a lot of respect for any Valley teams this year - and that includes the co-leaders of the conference.

The MVC is the Rodney Dangerfield of basketball this year.

I tell you, I can't get no respect. I walk into a restaurant and I order half a chicken. Half an hour later the waiter comes by and gives me a neck, a back, and two wings. I say, "Hey, what is this, I ordered half a chicken". He says, "Shut up and eat, you got the top half".

Valpo lost to UW-Green Bay (13-16) for the second time this season tonight.

It's looking more and more like MSU was not beaten by a superior team; they simply no-showed. Inexcusable for a senior-heavy team with that much on the line.
