I separated out the most recent update to avoid confusion. Looks like the groupings are pretty much set: 1-2 will be MSU and WSU (or WSU and MSU), 3-6 are determined, and the play-in teams have been finalized.

1-2: MSU/WSU
3-6: UNI, InSt, UE, CU (in no particular order)
7-10: SIU, Drake, IlSt, Bradley (in no particular order)

Below is a cleaned up breakdown of the possible seeding outcomes for the MVC Tournament. Note, this uses the MVC order of operation for breaking ties - first, head-to-head (or mini round-robin), then, out of conference strength of schedule. For this OOC SOS, I am using ESPN's breakdown currently, because I have no idea how to access "The RPI Report" data for OOC SOS (which the MVC will use apparently). ESPN currently shows OOC SOS rankings in this order: 1)Wichita State-59, 2)Indiana State-138, 3)Evansville-158, 4)Northern Iowa-170, 5)Missouri State-199, 6)Creighton-219, 7)Southern Illinois-233, 8)Bradley-279, 9)Drake-281, 10)Illinois State-332. This analysis assumes the OOC SOS order will not change by tourney time.

I think it is safe to assume that the order for NC SOS is set. There isn't anyone up there that is going to jump anyone between now and Friday morning.

Not so fast. Based on the remaining games for EU, UNI, and CU, the bluejays could easily end up the 6 see.

EU has two very winnable games left and CU will likely fall to WSU which will put CU in the 6th seed even if they beat UNI. Of course if EU wins out and CU loses both remaining games they will also be the 6 seed.

Here are the remaining games for each with SOS tiebreaker being EU-UNI-CU.

UNI: vs CU
CU: at WSU and vs UNI
EU: at DU and vs ISUred

The only way UE would get the 5 seed over CU is if they win out and we lose both. If we are tied, then Creighton gets the 5 seed because we beat UE both times during the season.

Good point. Forgot about the head to head tiebreaker.
