Belmont ?

Have any Belmont fans showed up here yet.
Would be great for one of them to start a message board. My tech guys is willing to help them set it up. I’m sure there are others in here that could also help.

Yes I've seen at least 2-3 of them. They posted a bit right after they joined. I expect we'll see more of them once Belmont starts playing under the MVC banner. Hope they stay active and participate in discussion as it is valuable and wonderful to have their perspective on the board as it is with every fanbase!

I'm pretty sure that of the 12 teams, Belmont will be the one team without an active message board. On the CSNBBS college message board, they have one listed in the "OVC Team talk" section, but hasn't been used in years. When it was being used there was like 4 or 5 responses to each topic. Maybe being in The Valley will help that. Maybe not. It didn't seem to do so when they upgraded at the time from the ASUN to the OVC.

Belmont is such a new D1 team still. They don't have the alumni fanbase yet that a lot of D1 schools do despite the success. Still weird they don't have a message board at all.

UIC doesn’t have a very active board, though they do have one at least. Hopefully their fanbases come alive. I’d love to know more about our new members—particularly Belmont and UIC, since we don’t know much about them. Plenty on here about Murray.

I watched a couple UIC games this year, and you guys have a really nice gym. What’s attendance there normally like? I didn’t see many people in the stands. Do you think your fan base will travel to St. Louis for the tournament?

I actually looked up a lot of the MVC boards when Murray joined and found them pretty easily. Never could find one for Belmont though. You'd think they must have some fans because somebody has to be funding that program for it to have had so much success. Maybe it's all funded by one billionaire booster. Private schools can get away with things like that.

You can try asking at our board https://racerfans.com/board/index.php. It was having issues where you couldn't register but they seem to be fixed now. Some of your posters are already on there, I know VUGrad1314 is if it's the same one from this board. We also have fans of Evansville, Indiana State, and Illinois State on our board that I have seen but there may be more. Sadly, and tellingly, they far outnumber the fans from other teams in our own conference.
