I think crowds will jump substantially in the new conference especially
With all of the SIU, ISU, Bradley alumni in Chicago.
We are thrilled to be in the MVC!

That’s good. That means that you can get them back. I think you will get pretty decent away crowds because there are a lot of valley alums who live in Chicago who will want to come see their team, esp against a new opponent. We’re glad to have you.

UIC can draw crowds but the lack of recent success has definitely hindered that. But I also think that the average fan/student will also care more about opponents in the MVC than the Horizon League. Opponent matters obviously.

I don’t know anyone who has attended any Horizon League school but I know many Illinois State (I’m
I education basically every teacher is an alum), and also SIU and Bradley. Just with common interest those crowds will immediately be better on not home and visitor side. Add in some names such as Murray State, Belmont, Missouri State and that plays a big role

The bottom line is we need to win and that will be the bitters difference. But I can (and dare I say will!) be done

I hear there's even a BWW in the South Loop.

Is true. A ~15 minute walk from the basketball stadium. I’d go with the garlic parmesean wings.

Also a Flat Top Grill just a 10 minute walk away. I miss ours in Bloomington

Check out Tufano's Vernon Park Tap-1073 W Vernon Park. Across the street from Credit Union 1 Arena and less than a block away. Very good Italian food. Al Italian Beef is a real taste of Chicago as well but is around a mile away. Greektown has some outstanding Greek restaurants and is very close

Not too many people know about this board. The only reason I'm here was from browsing MVC accounts on twitter.
