This is a very interesting game. Creighton has proven that they can compete with anyone in the Valley and they have also proven that they can be beaten by anyone. Wichita State is the best team in the Valley but sometimes doesn't show up at home. Unlike Altman, McDermott appears to be coaching the kids with the "rivalry" in mind and maybe he will have them up for the game. Probably not. If he does get the kids to play 40 minutes, this could be Creighton's marquee win.

My guess, 77-63 Wichita State.

I thought Greggg was going to cry when they interviewed him at halftime. He says "biggest thing we can't do is defend the foul line" his voice cracking up while he holds back the tears. "Seems to me they spent the whole half at the foul line."
