I can assure you the Mo State crowd cared. We wanted the scenario that played out. Of course, we are well aware we could lose the Friday game since we lose those types of games. That said, we much prefer a semi of Drake/SIU over a UNI which is what we would have had if Loyola won yesterday.

I totally understand why having our Regular Season champion be a team that isn't leaving the conference is a good thing for the long term future of the Valley but do we have any shot at multiple bids or has Loyola lost its safety net entirely. Can they still get in by making the finals and losing or are we a one bid league regardless? Having 5 top 100 teams and only getting one bid would really sting.

If Loyola doesn't win the tournament we will be a two bid league. Whoever wins the tournament and Murray State. :D
