200 fans? Try 50 or 60 fans.

You love talking about Loyola more than Loyola fans, I’m sure you’ll bring it up. Hell you even admitted you like creeping on Ramblermania.[/quote]

Loyola has fans? They should come to Arch Madness sometime! it's fun.

Good gravy.

Give it a rest, everyone. Loyola is leaving. That’s too bad. I have great experiences with Rambler fans in real life, here, and at their board. I’ll be cheering them on in the future. No hard feelings here

I hope a few MVC teams can set up Home&Homes with Loyola in the near future. After all, they didn’t exactly move up. Just different.

See you in St Louis and then, All the best!

Fair and agreed. Congrats on the championship. It was a hell of an atmosphere.

I really hope we schedules some H&Hs with MVC schools going forward. It's good for everyone...I think we will.

Looking forward to being in St. Louis with all the great MVC fans (and yes, I will be wearing my scarf!).

Yeah I like dunking on Loyola a little but to say they've brought no fans to St. Louis is wrong. I remember when they were bad their first few years they were bringing busloads of fans to St. Louis. And they've brought pretty good crowds since. I wish they were staying but both parties will be fine.

I think it makes perfect sense for Loyola to play at least 1 or 2 Valley schools a year. Better than average mid-major games, fan interest, and cheaper for their athletic budget. Them playing Bradley, Illinois St., Valpo, SIU (Valentine/Mullins friendship) makes sense for the common folk. Time will tell for AD's and coaches.

I have a strange feeling that Loyola won't be jumping to do H/H with MVC schools. How many A10s currently have H/H with MVC teams? No matter how much sense it makes, I don't see it happening for a while, unless it's Belmont or Murray.

That said, the conference needs to reestablish a conference challenge with the MWC or A10. It's a good way for the top teams to get a solid game and helps the lower teams get a noncon game on the schedule. Heck, the American would be fine too but that conference is gonna be real bad in the next couple years. In case you haven't seen it, the last school to leave the conference for greener pastures is coming off a 24 point loss to Memphis and sits at 4-9 (9th place) in the rebirth of Conference USA.

Is Wichita Sate a less well known program now than it was in the Valley? My impression is that they had become fairly prominent nationally with multiple NCAA tournament appearances, and that they are now much less known. Is that accurate or is it just my midwest bias?

A shorthanded Drake team just became more shorthanded. DJ Wilkins out for remainder of season with a torn ACL.

Bulldogs down to 8 healthy scholarship players, and one of them has been playing the entire season on a broken foot.

Just once would like to see Drake get through a season without multiple major injuries.
