The bandwagon still has open space!

But to be clear, Devries inherited 4 players from Niko’s time. One was Sturtz, who came in as a walk in with no D1 or d2 offers. 2 were Nick McGlynn (I hope most recall him) and Antonion Pilopovic (minor player who transferred before last year. The fourth was also a walk on whos no longer with the program.

Just want to give D Rock the credit hes due in the recruiting department :D

Tomorrow is going to be the best Saturday in years.

Should have two incredibly high level games that could go either way.

Can't wait.

It's been a miserable 15 years of mediocrity for SIU

So this is kind of Arch Madness related considering it involves a team who will be with us next year. First Belmont got jobbed on the SUPER late timeout call. On the last play (correct me if I’m wrong) but wasn’t that goaltending on the buzzer beater? It looked on the way down (albeit it looked short) and to my eye he let it fly before the buzzer.

I was at the game in the 3rd row closest to that basket. I recorded the final play on my phone and the lights on the backboard clearly light up before he released the ball.

Ah! Thanks, I really wasn’t sure, they didn’t show it too many times on TV as it wasn’t a game winner and I couldn’t keep my eye on both the shot clock and the shot. Also the announcers were crediting a “rejection” as the winner but, as I’m not familiar with the Morehead players, I wasn’t sure if they met the first block or what I saw as the goaltend.

A key for each game today.

1) How is UNI-Loyola officiated? Valentine has gone full Izzo and decided they're going to bump and grab and UNI has done nothing but continuously attack the lane. Whoever gets the whistle wins.

2) How does Drake defend Mosley without Wilkins? It's going to have to be by committee. Does Darian have enough different looks to bother him and can Brodie stay on the floor against Prim?
