So in theory, if no one were to transfer and everyone came back, we would have one scholarship to give.

Boya and Henry won't be back.

Illinois State: Redbirds will have all players eligible to return for the 2022-23 season, so they had zero signees in November. I’m sure that they will have some who will enter the transfer portal at the end of the season, which will open some scholarships for the spring signing period.

Illinois State getting a new coach will definitely shake up their roster.

I will bet you a soda/beer that one of Jones or Domask won't be back.

None of those three will be back. The only iffy is Henry and I would be shocked to see it.

UNI will lose Berhow and Pickford for sure.

AJ Green has said all along that unless he's not healthy that this will be his last year.

Austin Phyfe is definitely coming back for his 6th year.

The rest of the roster including the 3 redshirts are back.

One signee in PG Trey Campbell.

Assuming all that is true, UNI has one open scholarship for the spring.

AJ will have to decide if he wants a chance at an NCAA bid and whether he can get it at UNI or somewhere (Iowa State) else. Probably did not show enough to get a shot at the draft and then it's if he wants to go to Europe or not.

Phyfe will all depend on health, nothing is definite. Not sure he will be willing to fight through another year like this year. If he can get healthy enough to go 20-25 minutes, he will be back.

We have two scholarship slots if AJ and Phyfe come back because of the COVID leniency, whether we use them or not is a different story. I kind of expect that we will pursue at least one portal player.

Where are you hearing that ? Source ? If true that will totally kill any hope that Mullins will get SIU back to respectability, especially IF Domask were to leave.

From some people who would know in STL. It isn't a done deal. But I would say Lance Jones in particular is growing a bit tired of playing in one of the slowest paced offenses in college basketball and then also being a bottom division MVC team while doing it.

Seems like you're just guessing. I'm down on SIU but don't expect either to leave. If one does leave, I'd guess it'd be Domask.
