I would say that the odds are more in favor of Murray being in the middle of the MVC than at the top. KJ and Tevin are most likely gone and I'd say there is a 75% chance Coach McMahon will be lured away. It will essentially be a rebuilding year. If the rest do not transfer out, we will have three, maybe four players returning with meaningful experience.

Hoping we can make the Sweet 16 this season.

Us and Belmont both are losing a big chunk of offense. It will be a drastically different Belmont team next year without Grayson Murphy and Moose. In their two games against us this season when they went to bench their offense died. Well, in the second game it never got started but anyways.

We have a few good recruits on tap but as we’ve seen in past few years for our true freshmen is that what you see on paper doesn’t amount to jack squat. Definitely will be strange to see a Murray team without Tevin or KJ. A much improved Juice will be back though and the offense will probably run through him I’m guessing. Not sure with transfers and such that we might pick up in the off season but we could use a another forward or 2.

I’m going to go with us finishing top 4 saying our coach sticks around and we have a strong recruiting class come in.

I'm not sure I'm ready to put Drake in the top tier yet. All depends on whether Wilkins and Penn come back. Pretty sure Sturtz will. Brodie could also come back, but unless he dedicates himself completely to basketball in the off-season, he will be a non-factor.

Some of my friends were discussing whether Brodie might get a look from an NFL team as a TE or OL. Not sure he's fast enough for TE, but certainly has good size and frame to play on the line. Not sure he really has the type of game to go to Europe for BB.

Already amped for next season, and based on what I know along with assuming everyone eligible stays, here are my thoughts:

UNI (AJ, Carter, and Born is a heckuva top 3)
Murray State

Drake
Missouri State (Loss of the best big man in the Valley hurts)
SIU (Seriously needs consistent offensive support behind Marcus and Lance)
Bradley (Roberts and Mast were very impressive this year)
Belmont

Valpo (Kithier started to impress me, but I don't see enough talent at this point to rise into the middle tier)
Indy State
Illinois State
Evansville

Total guesswork here, but fun to think about.
