I think the chance that Domask or Lance leave this year or next are pretty astronomical - both appear to be very committed to the program and their teammates. Someone earlier mentioned SIU needing a PG - true, but I think the biggest element is someone else who has already been mentioned in Scottie Ebube. He redshirted this year, but if you've seen him in warmups you likely haven't forgotten the show this guy puts on - if he ends up winning the majority of the front court playing time this year, then I think SIU has a much better team than if we had brought in a transfer PG as we'd still be lacking down low.

Why did they redshirt him and Foster Wonders?

I didn't think post play was SIU's albatross this year; no they didn't have a star, but they had a 3 man rotation that gave them minutes and versatility if not big production. Part of their problem was unrealistic expectations of Mulia . Juco evaluations are always a bit skewed on big guys , because they are limited in number . Mulia was in the 20's , but have no idea how or why , as he was very limited offensively even at Juco level, and while tabbed as a great defender, his rebounding and shot blocking stats were mediocre as well.

I think Banks can be a decent pg in this league, though I guess he had a so-so year this year. Where I saw SIU lacking was on the wings and on the bench. I'm not saying Mullins won't be successful, but he's got to look at what he does offensively and he has to recruit better . But hey, he's a young coach , so you'd expect growing pains . We've certainly have had to deal with Ford's maturation process at MSU; he does some things very well, is getting better at some, and still has some real areas of deficit. Obviously retaining the talent he[ Mullins] has [ Jones/Domask] is essential to being able to build his program; probably the biggest issue as to why Lottich has struggled so much. Hard to build an identity if the program has a revolving door, so hopefully Jones/Domask do stay the course.

100% I did. I was shocked today. Everyone I talked to in STL was shocked as well.

If I remember correctly, guys who utilize their "covid year" of eligibility do not count against the total number of scholarships available to the team. So Henry's return is low risk-high reward. If he is available, great! If not, it's not like a scholly is being wasted.

Did he go through senior day activities this year? If so, does he get to do that again? Not that it matters, just kind of awkward. LOL.

That was for this year only. Starting next year you've got to be back to 13.

He did go through Senior day, but it's better to go through it twice than to look at the alternative and not at all.

I don't think the coaching staff felt they were ready and that they had enough talent already eligible.

As of this time Bradley has two scholarships to give this spring. No one committed in the Fall.
