Unrelated, but updating the colors made me realize that all three of the new MVC additions lean hard into navy blue as a team color. Back to your regularly scheduled programing.

And please don't ever use the Chicago Blue (Powder blue) or Steel Gray/Grey (Black) colors in repping UIC. Those are our alternate colors that we really don't need. Years ago the names of our official colors were Indigo and Flame. Then administration thought we were a bunch of kids and called the colors Fire Engine Red and Navy Blue. Now for some reason to become closely aligned with the City of Chicago, they've added the powder blue and black.

Antonio Reeves has entered the portal

Redbird fans were thrilled when Reeves decided to return this season. I think most were expecting a transfer after this year regardless who the coach is.

Illini and Wisconsin fans on Twitter are hoping he chooses one of those. I'd give the edge to Wisconsin. They recruited him out of HS and rumor was he was just waiting for an offer that never came. Plus, Coach Gard got to see Reeves upclose this season when Tone put 23 on the Badgers. It was noted after the game every assistant coach spent an extra moment talking with Reeves in the handshake line.
