No. Dean is either Trolling or the best proof of the multiverse.

Do your think it would have been a mistake for Illinois State to have brought Porter Moser back?

I do not know the situation with Porter Moser when he was there or right before he came so any thoughts I have would be from ignorance, .. but with the power of hindsight, seeing what he accomplished at Loyola, .. yeah maybe ISUr should've rehired him back in 2011. But that ship is long gone.

No, St. Louis had one good season while he was there as an assistant and was only a few years removed from an underwhelming stint at ISU. I'm happy for him and his success, but nothing supported hiring him back.

Lowery was handed a shiny Corvette on day 1. He transformed it into a beaten up Chevy Nova. He took the program down faster then free beer going down. Go away Dean.

SIU would be dancing today if Lowery was coach and likely would have danced at least 8 of the last 10 years. It's a shame what has become of this dynasty and its al the fault of Kevin Dillard and Mario Moccia. It's time to correct their errors and right the ship. I seriously think a public apology from the university and a long term deal for about $1.4 million per season would make it happen.

Why would a guy with one 8th place finish and two 9th place finishes in his last three years be expected to lead a team to the tournament every year? What exactly was he going to do to accomplish that?

Completely true....all of it. This thread may have been on of the funniest I have ever read. Does it occur to anyone that Lowery has not exactly had his door beaten down since he rejoined Bruce Webber at KSU? He was more than happy to bring in a six figure check and let Bruce take all the heat. He ruined SIU, mostly by taking in high maintenance kids. Not one of his "fab five" recruiting class stayed....not one.

I think Purdue assistant and SIU alum Paul Lusk would be perfect for the Ugly Dawgs. I would lock him up to a 10 year contract.

Lusk would be a small improvement but I'd give him an "earn it" contract. Something like 3 years / $300k per year.

He hasn't earned a long term $1.4 million per year deal like Lowery has during his career.

It’s time for Dean to take his meds, that’s what it is time for.

What is wrong with me wanting SIU to return to a winning a program? Ever since Creighton and Wichita State left the conference, SIU has been in shambles when we should be a dynasty dominating the other dumpster fires in the league. Bring back Lowery and do it today!
