If he doesn't, there is no favorite and good luck to those with preseason ballots.

Drake would be obvious favorites, they might be favorites even if Green comes back. As long as DeVries (both of them) are there, they're going to be top half of the Valley the way they're recruiting and being coached.

We still have no idea who is coming back for Drake. I don't think we will see top players transfer, but they might try Europe.

With the Roberts news and assuming AJ doesn’t return, next year looks wide open enough where a team no one expects could come out of nowhere and take the league by storm (ie 2008 Drake).

They've lost a ton of guys and Schertz is struggling to handle media at the DI level. I'm going to say not Indiana State.

The answer is Southern Illinois if Jones and Domask are back

When you look at the totality of the TP, it just shows no program is immune . A couple years ago several posters on here kinda self righteously proclaimed if you had a good culture and coach, you wouldn't lose transfers . But those programs have now lost top level players themselves, which isn't a mark against them, just verification that when you open up a market, people are gonna use it for all kinds of reasons.

Heard some speculate that AJ could end up at Creighton.

I think Schertz will make Indiana State realize what they had in Greg Lansing. They're probably a Thursday team for a good while now. Also, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that believes SIU could make a run next year with a possibly wide open league. Granted, I'm also a homer. Lol

SIU absolutely can and the fans should expect it.
