If you told Yesufu he'd be getting walk-on minutes at Kansas, I don't think he would have made the move. Certainly not what an ascending star had in mind for his future. But yes, making the Final Four is cool.

I'm sure it isn't what he had planned but I just don't think I would call it a "loss" for him.
