MVC Standings after 17 games

Out of 21 MVC statistical categories, WSU is ranked first in eleven of them. It's hard to comprehend how impressive that is. For comparison, SWOMO, the current second place team in the Valley standings only leads two statistical categories out of 21.

I just wish we could enjoy the road version of this Wichita State team when they play at home. Had we played up to our statistical abilities at home I would have us currently at 16-1 with our only loss to NIU.

Interesting. What's even more interesting is this statistic for the Valley's first-place team, Missouri State (not Fairmount College as you mistakenly represented):

MSU 59
WSU 56

NIU and SIU-C beat us as well. Using your logic should we place them at the top of the Valley standings? No we can't because Wichita State has the best overall record.

So glad you've demonstrated your proficient skills of using screen capture. Unfortunately, those standings are likely posted by a data entry clerk that is probably not versed in the actual rules published by the Missouri Valley Conference regarding standings tiebreakers.

I think the issue will be settled on the court Saturday. There will be no questions as to which team should be listed in which slot.
