Austin Phyfe announced that he's officially coming back for his 6th year and that the majority of his Long COVID symptoms have subsided. Expects to be close to a full go for summer workouts.

Good stuff. Excited to watch him play. He is a Larry Bird candidate, assuming he is at or near 100%.

Because it’s no longer 1989? Just taking a stab at it lol.

My point is, in terms of height/weight (taken as a whole) I am not seeing much of that on the Murray roster. Feel free to enlighten me if that is not the case. Size matters.

Unless you're the "Flyin' Illini". Only one player taller than 6'7"...6'8" Marcus Liberty.

Most of the 6-10 guys I see on mid-major rosters are as likely to have 1.5 PPG, .08 RPG and less than 5 quality minutes a week. If he's 6-10 and can do more than that, he's not on a mid-majors roster.

UE's roster is much, much better than the 2 years under Licklitter. Might even be better than McCarty's team that knocked off Kentucky, EXCEPT DeAndre Williams, who got it done.

Gone are the slower, less athletic shooters who struggled in 21-22. Gone is the quick but small and erratic PG.

The new roster has more size and athleticism. Giddy up. Should be a decent year.
