Link to a tweet from The D1 Docket... There are fewer than 80 D1 teams left that have not announced their non-conference schedule, including SIU. Seems like it is going to be tough for them to have any sort of quality schedule, especially with the veteran team they have this year.

SIU and Oklahoma State (Barry Hinson) have agreed to a three year deal.

SIU has a terrible non conference for this year, and even worse home schedule. But next year will be legit with Oklahoma State and SLU both visiting for the 23-24 season. Hopefully our super seniors return next year.

What's weird is there are a reasonable amount of chances for good wins: at Oklahoma State, at Saint Louis, the SoCal Shootout with UNLV and Minnesota in the field.

The problem is the home schedule, which instead of including a few decent midmajors is predominantly DI bottomfeeders (plus Lincoln, a non-D1). When Little Rock is your best home game by a fair amount, that's a rough look. Next year's home schedule should be much, much better, but that's next year ...

When those 4 games are at home, yes. I assume they'll get some decent road games too if they take a step this year.
