UNI Announces $77M Facilities Project

UNI will unveil a series of projects as part of a campus wide $250M capital campaign called 'Our Tomorrow'.

$77M of that will go into athletics facilities.

$50M UNI-Dome expansion, renovation and modernization (Starts Summer 2023)
$15M Basketball/Volleyball Practice Facility (2024)
$5M Wrestling Facility (2024)
$3M McLeod Center modernization (2024)
$2M Outdoor Track Replacement (2023)
$2M On Campus Soccer Game Field (2025)

The University announced that $187M of the $250M campaign has already been secured.

unidomerenovation.com has renderings that show the UNI-Dome being all (purple) chairback seating. Pretty impressive as there’s very few FBS stadiums with 100% chairback.

If the seats are just like the ones in McLeod, that will be a fantastic upgrade. I'm so glad to see this is all finally starting to happen.
