As a Valpo fan I am embarrassed. This is an absolute disgrace and a low point for Valpo basketball in my lifetime. It's past time for a coaching change to find out if it really is the coach that is the problem or if Valpo truly is a one-family program. For the sake of Valpo's program and my hopes of Valpo one day being a credit to the MVC instead of a burden I hope that it's just a Lottich problem.

You are correct on all counts. Yet wrong on many. :Violin:

Krikke is shooting 11-15, Edwards is shooting 6-9, and Valpo’s down 20-whatever to Chicago St.

Lottich inherited the #42 KenPom program returning its star player from Bryce Drew.

Valpo loses to Chicago State by 13 and it honestly could have somehow been worse

And has turned it into an unrecognizable laughingstock. I used to look forward to basketball season. I don't anymore.

SEMO is about to beat Evansville. At least Missouri State is down 1 at BYU.

To your knowledge, are Valpo fans pressuring the administration to fire lottich at all? You can’t lose to Chicago St in year 7 and keep your job.

Our board is LIVID right now. There is literally NO ONE defending Lottich at this point. Up until now or at least very recently there had been a fairly strong pro-Lottich faction that believed he just needed time (I myself wavered for a long time between the pro and Anti-Lottich factions spending much more time with the latter). There are numerous calls in the game thread for his job. Some of our posters I believe are connected with the program or at least are season ticket holders and they are calling for him to go now too. I said it many times in that thread and I'll say it here: The time is now. He needs to go.

This Valpo is no different than the Valpo that won 5 games a year in the AMCU.

But by all means, keep Lottich. Next year is it, I just know it!!

I really wish I could disagree with and debate this post but I can't. I'm tired. This era has worn me down and has given me absolutely nothing to work with. We're pretty much back where we were before Homer breathed life into the program and it looks like we'll need a savior again. Will lightning strike twice? Who knows? But if anyone wonders why I've been a lot less active posting lately this is a big reason why.
