Tough loss to UMASS. Sooo close! I thought they had it.

I went into this tournament still trying to get a handle on this Racer team and 2 games in I gotta say I’m confident we have a terrific chance to be a tough out down the conference stretch. Seeing these 12 new guys and new coaching regime this far along in November leaves me with a feeling of relief lol. I’ve been through one of these type rebuilds before and it wasn’t pretty the first couple of seasons.

This team definitely has the ability to finish top 4 in MVC just depends on what the bring night in night out. I’m pleasantly surprised so far from what we have seen. I’m ready for the conference season already.

Belmont down double digits to Tarelton, really getting concerned they might be way worse than anyone thought

You must have been taking to 2nd graders who know nothing about college basketball. “The new Valpo” :D

I agree, unfair comparison, Valpo has been in the Sweet 16.

So has Florida Gulf Coast, but I wouldn't want to trade programs with them.

Yeah, we're not very good right now. With only one significant player returning, this was shaping up to be a nearly total rebuilding year. On top of that, we're still down three players. One was a transfer expecting to be our starting point guard. Instead, we're starting a freshman at point guard. He's doing well, but that is not what you want quarterbacking your team. The backup behind him is our best player who plays better when he's not at point.

Arguably, our best returning inside guy hasn't played at all this year and is one that is out.

On the bright side, we have two freshman that look really good so far. Our freshman point guard is doing okay and is getting valuable experience. We also have a 6-6 freshman guard that is averaging 16.3 points per game while shooting 58% from three.

We may struggle this year, but we should get back to playing well by next year. Plus, when we get our team at full strength, we should be playing better by the end of this year.

Bears are boat racing a good Middle Tennessee team. Up 66-39 with under 8min remaining. Impressive stuff
