I've always said that Sam Houston is a Top 10 program. Good to see them getting their due.

Also, Louisville is a bottom-3 D1 program. Louisville is 361 ahead of only Houston Christian and Hartford (transitioning to DIII).

These will change as we’re only halfway thru non-con, but here’s Conference NET at the moment:

2 B1G
3 SEC
4 Big East
5 PAC
6 MWC
7 ACC
8 WCC
9 CUSA
10 AAC
11 WAC
12 MVC
13 Ivy
14 A10

Obviously, we know they wont finish anywhere near that high but the NET is a formula, just like RPI. At some point, someone A LOT smarter than me will figure out a way for teams at our level to manipulate it. I have no idea how because it is overtly catering toward the P6, who automatically play at least 10-15 games against Q1/2 every year, but it'll happen eventually.

The NET formula is secret for a reason. They can tinker with it in the background and nobody will ever know. CBS/Turner wants names and the NCAA being our country's more incompetent version of FIFA is more than willing to give it to them no matter how they have to do it.

The only way that I've seen that you can manipulate it is to blow the doors off bad teams and run up your offensive efficiency. As soon as mids start going that route, SOS will matter hardcore. It's all as rigged as the WWE.

There is no way to beat the NET. It starts with bias towards power 6 teams, or at least teams that are perceived as better prior to playing a game. Impossible to overcome when you don't play in one of those conferences.

And they will use it when it helps seeding "P5" teams and ignore it when it doesn't. Just like RPI.

Great website for figuring out the NET

https://bracketologists.com/

They will also answer questions if you have them.
