Completely embarrassing and inexcusable. Easily the worst UNI team since either 17-18 or 07-08. Your choice.

Sorry, guys.

Honestly not trolling. Do you still see upside in this group or have you soured on that?

As individual pieces? Absolutely. I think Duax and Campbell are going to be really, really good just having to play more than they should at this point. We know what Born is but any coach that decides they're not just going to stand on his toes and make everyone else beat them is a moron.

Tytan Anderson would be great as a 15 minute a night guy as an energy and rebounding guy but is absolutely exposed as a 35 minute guy because he can't play offense. Landon Wolf isn't anywhere near ready for this level and I'm not sure ever will be because there comes a point where you have to be somewhat athletic.

This is one of those cycles that Jake has when he decides he's always the smartest guy in the room. He'll have 3 or 4 straight good years and decides that he's so good that he doesn't need talent and that's the cycle we're in right now and we end up having .500ish seasons. That's what this will be.

The league is God awful so I expect UNI finishes somewhere between 5th and 8th and loses on Friday in StL.

We've got a really good class on paper next year but they're still going to be freshmen. We'll see where this goes.

That home loss to McNeese St (342 NET) dropped UNI all the way down to 302 in NET and singlehandedly dropped the MVC 2 places in conference NET.

Okay this might be a dumb question but I am curious- is the seat warm in Cedar Falls?

I am not arguing it should be, because it is cyclical, but I’m trying to understand the mood of the fans at this point. I have seen some consternation from some fans about the state of the athletics department.

Absolutely not. Number one, he's won two of the last three regular season titles and, number two, the people paying him still love him and he'd be owed $8.5M the day he's fired.

Everything happening at UNI is just a symptom of having an AD that can't raise money and has decided we can't spend money on anything.

Jake goes and we might as well apply to the NSIC.

Drake not representing the MVC very well. Getting embarrassed by Richmond. Down 47-25 @ half.

I was hoping for an answer like this. I think he is a fantastic coach. But people close to programs see different stuff.

This league sucks out loud.

The constant loss of coaching talent and the transfer rules are certainly catching up.
