INSU has been without Neese though. The loss is still unacceptable but this needed to be highlighted. Neese returns from injury this week.

USI was Indiana State Evansville from 1965-1985 as a satellite campus of INSU. It took a governor from Evansville to grant the school its independence.
The Sycamore ran into a highly motivated USI team in a packed arena on the road. I don't think Neese would have made any difference and to deem the loss unacceptable is an over exaggeration.

The difference is that SIU loses more students to dropouts than UE has enrolled. SIUE would be better than UE too!
